Coronavirus (Covid-19) and our local Mitchell Shire Community
Being part of a wide community, spanning many towns and vast countryside, it’s not always easy to know what is available in the local area. We have pulled together this site in order to provide a go-to resource for local businesses who are still operating during this time – who are providing online or over the phone orders, and delivery services.
We hope that this provides local business the customers that will be so badly needed, and provides YOU, the customer, with a handy reference of businesses you can call on during this time.

Who would have thought the world could change so much in a few short months?
Our current situation puts us in a position where we are concerned about the health of our family, friends, and the broader community. The economic impact to our country, and of course our community, will be massive and long-lasting.
This is a time where we need to stay home as much as possible, but businesses still need to operate. Where possible, under Government and State restrictions, some businesses are still able to deliver or offer takeaway/pick-up options. We’ve included Restaurants & Cafes, businesses selling produce such as fruit, vegetables and meat, local businesses providing services online / interaction-free services to our community, and local retail businesses who can provide you with gifts, housewares or even plants during this time. We’ve also included a support section for those in the community who may be doing it tough right now.
